Simple, small campground near Madden, AB with 12 sites, offering a quiet rural setting alongside community amenities like a hall, rodeo grounds, and curling rink. The Madden & District Agricultural Society Campground provides a modest, no-frills camping experience in a peaceful rural setting just northwest of Calgary. Designed as part of a larger community facility, this campground is ideal for campers seeking a quiet overnight stay or a convenient base while attending local events. With approximately 12 campsites available, the campground offers a small, uncrowded atmosphere where guests can enjoy open space and a slower pace. Rather than a full-service resort, the focus here is simplicity and accessibility—well-suited for self-contained campers or those looking for a straightforward place to park and relax. What makes this location unique is its integration with the broader ag society grounds. Campers have close proximity to facilities such as a community hall, curling rink, and a large outdoor riding and rodeo arena, reflecting the area’s strong agricultural and community spirit. This makes it especially appealing during local events, gatherings, or rodeos, when the grounds come alive with activity. The campground operates seasonally, with reservations typically available through the warmer months and into the fall, depending on weather conditions. Its rural location also places campers within easy driving distance of Calgary while still offering a countryside escape surrounded by farmland and open skies. Best suited for short stays, event-based visits, or travelers passing through the region, the Madden Ag Society Campground offers a quiet, community-oriented alternative to larger, amenity-heavy campgrounds—perfect for those who value simplicity, space, and a genuine small-town Alberta atmosphere. ### Site Types Available Tent ### What This Campground Offers #### For Campers ##### Bathroom & Essentials Restrooms Drinking Water Fire Pits ##### Recreation & Fun Live Events Playground ##### Food & Convenience Firewood #### For Your RV ##### Camping Types Group Sites RV Sites Tent Sites ##### Site Features Pull-through sites Back-in sites Group sites ##### Site Surface Grass ##### RV Specifications Slide-Out Friendly ##### Hookups Electric Only #### Rules & Policies Not Allowed Pets Ask Host Generators Allowed Campfires Ask Host Alcohol Starting from $21 / night $ price tier 25 Sites Total campsites (403) 946-5911Laingmeagan@gmail.com Visit Website: https://maddenagsociety.com/facilities/campground/ #### Address Module 4 Comp 16 Madden, Alberta T0M 1L0 Canada #### GPS Coordinates 51.4371, -114.2854 Copy these coordinates into your GPS device or paste them into a web browser or navigation app for directions. ## Getting Here Madden, Alberta, Canada $21 Leaflet: https://leafletjs.com/ © OpenStreetMap: https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright ## Camp Weather Madden, Alberta, Canada ## About this listing Unclaimed listing on Campstr This listing has not yet been claimed by the campground owner or operator.
