The site is split into three loops: Loop C is densely wooded with spruce, fir, and aspen trees along the river's edge, while Loops A and B offer more open views with Ponderosa pines. The campground is a premier destination for fly fishing, as the adjacent river is designated as Gold Medal water for trout.
