Snowforest Campground, opened in 2020 at the base of the Meadows in the Sky Parkway, is the first new front-country campground in the Canadian national park system in over 50 years. Surrounded by cedar-hemlock rainforest, it offers a range of accommodations from walk-in tent sites to large pull-through RV sites with electrical hookups. The facility features a modern campground centre, hot showers, and flush toilets, and serves as a gateway to the park's lower trail network and the historic Nels Nelson ski jump area.
