Set within a mixed conifer forest of sugar pines, incense cedar, and fir, the campground offers 35 standard individual sites and 14 mid-sized group sites. Its location provides convenient access to Grant Grove Village, the Kings Canyon Visitor Center, and the General Grant Tree. Basic amenities include flush toilets, potable water, and bear-resistant food storage lockers at each site, though no hookups are available.
