Emerald Bay State Park is a 1,533-acre park featuring Lake Tahoe's only island (Fannette Island), the historic Scandinavian-style Vikingsholm mansion, and stunning views of the Sierra Nevada. The park offers two distinct camping experiences: the drive-in Eagle Point Campground on a peninsula overlooking the lake, and a boat-in only campground for a more secluded stay along the north shore.
