Eureka Valley Campground is situated along the banks of the Stanislaus River in the Stanislaus National Forest, approximately 26 miles east of the Summit Ranger Station on Highway 108. The campground features 28 sites, including four walk-in tent sites and two double sites, set among scenic granite rock formations and tall coniferous trees. Managed by Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort under a special use permit, it offers a primitive experience with vault toilets and hand-pumped potable water. Its proximity to the river makes it a popular destination for anglers and nature enthusiasts seeking a peaceful mountain setting.
