Forks Campground is situated in the scenic Bishop Creek valley within the Inyo National Forest, specifically at the junction of the South Fork and Middle Fork of Bishop Creek. The campground features 27 single-family campsites nestled among groves of aspen and pine, with several sites positioned directly along the creek banks. At an elevation of 7,800 feet, it serves as an excellent base for high-altitude fishing, hiking to nearby alpine lakes like Lake Sabrina and South Lake, and autumn photography. Basic facilities include drinking water, vault toilets, and one accessible flush toilet. Due to the area's active bear population, each site is equipped with a mandatory-use food storage locker.
