Chief Hosa Campground is a historic municipal facility owned and operated by the City and County of Denver within Genesee Park. Established in 1918 as America's first motor-camping area, it spans 58 acres and offers campers panoramic views of the Continental Divide. The facility accommodates both RVs and tents, providing a mountain experience just 20 miles west of downtown Denver. The surrounding park is home to a city-owned bison herd and numerous hiking trails.
