As the largest campground in the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests, it offers 129 campsites, including 21 with electric hookups, catering to both RV and tent campers. The facility features amenities such as flush and vault toilets, showers, and a dump station, along with an on-site boat ramp and dock. While the area has limited shade due to past mountain pine beetle activity, it provides panoramic views of the lake and surrounding peaks, with convenient access to hiking trails and the west entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park.
