The Massasauga Provincial Park is a natural environment park stretching along the eastern shore of Georgian Bay from Parry Sound to the Moon River. It encompasses hundreds of windswept islands, inland forests, and lakes, providing a protected sanctuary for the Massasauga Rattlesnake. The park is unique for offering exclusively backcountry, water-access camping where visitors can moor in quiet coves or paddle to remote inland lake sites.
