Colleton State Park is a 35-acre park situated along the banks of the Edisto River, one of the longest free-flowing blackwater rivers in the country. Serving as the headquarters for the Edisto River canoe and kayak trail, the park offers a peaceful environment for paddling, fishing, and camping. Originally developed by the Civilian Conservation Corps, it features historical structures, a nature trail, and easy access from I-95.
