( reviews)

A welcoming gathering spot in Interior with group sites designed for memorable trips with family and friends.

Two distinct camping experiences within the Badlands, from managed RV sites to primitive wilderness camping.

Badlands National Park features two established campgrounds: Cedar Pass Campground and Sage Creek Campground. Cedar Pass is a managed facility near the Ben Reifel Visitor Center offering modern amenities like flush toilets and electric hookups for RVs and tents. Sage Creek is a primitive, free, first-come-first-served wilderness campground located on the western side of the park, known for frequent wildlife encounters including bison and prairie dogs. Both locations offer stunning views of the park's unique geological formations and expansive prairies.
