Established in 1915 as Washington's first state park, Larrabee State Park is a 2,748-acre camping park set on the seaward side of Chuckanut Mountain. It features 8,100 feet of saltwater shoreline on Samish Bay, offering postcard views of the San Juan Islands. Visitors can explore tide pools, hike to freshwater Fragrance and Lost Lakes, or utilize the extensive mountain biking trail network. The park is also known for its proximity to the active BNSF railroad, which bisects the camping and day-use areas.
