A premier birdwatching and nature destination on the North Platte River featuring a swimming beach and scenic trails.

Edness K. Wilkins State Park is a 362-acre riparian wilderness area located along the North Platte River near Casper, Wyoming. Transformed from a former rock quarry, the park is now a premier destination for birdwatching with over 200 species recorded. Visitors can enjoy a sand swimming beach, a unique handicapped-accessible fishing pier, and nearly three miles of paved accessible trails. While primarily a day-use park, it offers overnight accommodations in the form of seven rustic camp shacks.
