Prairie Peaks Campground offers a relaxed, seasonal RV camping experience set against the striking backdrop of southern Alberta’s Rocky Mountain foothills. Located near Hill Spring and within easy reach of Waterton Lakes National Park, it’s an ideal base for campers looking to blend quiet downtime with outdoor adventure.
Designed as a comfortable “home base” for the summer season, the campground features large, well-spaced RV sites (approximately 40’ x 100’ or 50’ x 100’) with full hookups, including power (15/30/50 amp), water, and sewer connections. Reliable WiFi is available, making it easy to stay connected while enjoying a longer stay. Notably, the campground is geared toward RV camping only and does not offer tent sites.
Amenities are thoughtfully designed to create a social, family-friendly atmosphere. Guests can enjoy a stocked pond for fishing, canoeing, and swimming, along with recreational options like indoor pickleball, basketball, and playgrounds for kids. Fire pits at each site encourage relaxed evenings outdoors, while additional conveniences such as potable water and laundry (by appointment) support extended stays.

Prairie Peaks sits near the Waterton Reservoir and serves as a convenient gateway to some of southern Alberta’s best attractions, including Waterton Lakes National Park, Pincher Creek, Cardston, and Lethbridge—all within a short drive.
