Woolford Campground, located within Woolford Provincial Park along the banks of the St. Mary River, offers a peaceful and rustic camping experience. It is famously home to the only preservation stand of Narrow-Leaved Cottonwood Trees in Alberta's Parks and Protected Areas network. The campground features 17 unserviced sites suitable for both RVs and tents. Visitors can enjoy activities such as sportfishing for trout, pike, and walleye, canoeing, and hiking through the rare riparian cottonwood ecosystem which provides excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing. The park is situated in a remote area approximately 18 km east of Cardston, providing a quiet escape under spectacular starry skies.
